What we do for our VISUAL INSPECTION and TEST DRIVE

(all included below in our regular pricing at $149.99)

Colorado Vehicle Inspectors will inspect the vehicle on the outside for:

• Scrapes
• Dings
• Damage (minor or major)
• Missing parts
• Tires (tread and any damage)
• Headlights – are they working
• Taillights – running, brake, reverse and signal
• High beams – are they working
• Turn signals – are they working
• Windshield – is it in good condition (check for pits or cracks)
• Back window – is it in good condition (check for pits or cracks)
• Side Windows –are they in good condition (check for pits or cracks)
• Windshield wipers – are they in good condition (do they work)
• Bumpers
• Mirrors
• Muffler/exhaust
• Doors open and close
• Paint – chips, peeling, cracks or damage
• Suspension
• Fluid check

Colorado Vehicle Inspectors will Inspect the vehicle on the inside for:

• Smell or odor
• Wear and tear
• Windows – do they roll up and down
• Damage (minor or major)
• Speedometer – does it work
• Odometer – does it work
• Interior lights – do they work
• Glove box – does it open and close (is the owner’s manual in the glove box)
• Emergency brake – does it work
• Rear view mirror
• Safety belts
• Horn
• Locks
• Seats – heating, cooling, power and any damage, any tears or stains

Colorado Vehicle Inspectors will Test Drive the vehicle:

• We will test drive manual and automatic vehicles
• How does the vehicle drive
• Alignment – does it pull to one side or the other
• Brakes – how do they feel
• Gas pedal – how does it feel
• Acceleration – how does it feel
• Suspension – how does it feel
• Performance – how does it feel
• Steering – how does it feel
• Transmission – how does it feel (is it shifting like it should)
• Engine – does the engine make any out of the ordinary sounds, is it squealing?

Colorado Vehicle Inspectors will photograph the VIN number for you to verify it matches the one provided by the dealership.(does it match)?

Colorado Vehicle Inspectors will provide a detailed report along with photos of any damage or unusual findings.

Additional fees (as requested):

• Colorado Vehicle Inspectors can scan the vehicle computer for any error codes that have shown up, we charge an additional $39.99 per vehicle.

• Colorado Vehicle Inspectors can have a certified mechanic inspect your vehicle and run diagnostic testing for an extra fee of $149.99 per vehicle. If you choose this method for us to take your vehicle to a mechanics shop, we will not charge for the above error code scanning, this will be included with the mechanics report.

• Colorado Vehicle Inspectors can also run the CARFAX on any vehicle for an additional $49.99 per vehicle.

All reports and inspections are purely based on our opinion, we are not mechanics, and our opinion is based on visual inspection. We do not guarantee that our inspection is certified or that we will catch everything that COULD be wrong with the vehicle.

We do not inspect vehicles that require a commercial driver’s license, motorcycles, RV’s or off road Vehicles

We are not an authorized VIN verification contractor, however, we can send you a picture of the VIN on the vehicle you are interested in purchasing
